Adventure day
Just came back from our Adventure (sorry no pics) I didn't trust two kid and a teenager on a canoe! Sadly no one would pose for me :( So you people have to put up with me again! Sorry to torture you so........I just joined UTATA (yeay!) and wanted to participate. When I got home my wife gave me this Idea (read below) Oops need to post it here to read it @ UTATA Not just a self proclaimed geek, no just yesterday when I came home with this new hat my wife reminded me how she thinks "your such a dorky geek!" she said. Then my kids chimed in too....."dad take off that hat your such a geek". There you have it! The proof is in I'm a Geek!". Best viewed on black Some people have cooperative and understanding spouse's who support you in your artistic expression. Not here! It was down right hostile tonight! My wife was knocking down my BG, making my model fall over laughing! In the end it was crap! I deleted it and waited until every body was in bed! So It's back to toys then. They don't seam to mind sitting around until the light is good :P Well if any one would like the Strobist info it's here

The BG was some shiney wrapping paper I found when I pulled out the Christmas lights for this shoot. As soon as I saw it I knew it had potential! But boy the wife was not happy with that! I was using a flashlight to check and help the focus and decided to leave it on for the shot to fill in a little. Turn back time
Black Sad day today. Have to go to a funeral for my friend's Mother :( I started missing my Mom. That's when inspiration struck for UTATA project She was and still is my inspiration for all this. As an artist she taught me to see things in a different way. As a parent she raised me to be respectful and kind. She also touched the lives of many. As for my friend I am very sorry for his lose I can tell she was a great Mom she raised a very kind and caring family. No we can't turn back time, even though sometimes we wish we could.
