Why you knucklehead!
Why I'll clobber you! Nuck nuck nuck.... Well after three days of playing with this BG I give up! The problem is the 600W Flash is just too big for my small room and this super reflective bg. I am still planning to bring it my debut shoot It's like a cavern in this venue so maybe if I have more distance from the BG it might still work..... But I'll stick to the good old tried and true just in case!
Hoiday Shoot!
OK Flickr's it's time to get my feet wet! Starting a FB Page! (yes I'm selling out :P) Would love to have you guys become fans of LMVphoto on FaceBook! This shot will be for my first debut shoot. (got that song ingrained in my head) Best I could do this late night, been busy putting up the tree...... Also got Fliers made up for my event coming up next Sunday. I'm pleased to announce that I will donate any proceeds of the pictures from the event to Autism Speaks! I have a brother with Autism so this is a cause near and dear to me. Find out more about the event on Facebook To learn more about Autism Speaks visit them at www.autismspeaks.org

Have a Happy Strobist New Year! Thank you for a great year Flickr Friends! I enjoyed learning from you guys and laughing at the great comments! Thanks for your wonderful support :~) Have a wonderful New Year! Hey buddy you need a shave
All of a sudden I'm overcome by a feelin' of brief mortality 'Cause I'm gettin' on in the world Comin' up on forty-one years
Forty-one stoney gray steps towards the grave You know the box, awaits it's grissly load Now, I'm gonna be food for worms Alabama 3 Yep, a re-post from the lazy SP shoot; celebrating with the family, catch up later!
The sweet details
Our Saturday afternoon project......just had to use this as a photo op :~) Was going to post earlier but a motor decided to go bad on 40' high roof top at 20 deg F (-7deg C) with 45mph (72 kph) wind gusts oh yeah that was fun. BTW did I mention the customer knew it was bad all week but did nothing about it. Not a happy camper...... Best little model! He even helped me clean up :~) No set up shot :~( My SB-600 won't start up. Spent too much time trying to fix it. I took it apart, but there were no obvious signs of damage or fuses. I didn't feel comfortable taking it apart any deeper so off to the repair shop I guess.... White Egret or Hey buddy don't get to close!
They're draining the pond around the corner. We have two visitors watching the action; this guy; and a GBH. The Heron took off as I approached. My Tamron was far to slow to catch him in flight (I tried) This is as close as I could get to this guy 210mm with a 2X Tele SOOC only slightly cropped I had to brighten the shadow side of him because he wasn't in his "light"
